Boyd’s Station | Project Second Look

This limited edition collection of archival prints produced from the original 4-inch x 5-inch Kodak Tri-X negatives made by photographers of The Cynthiana Democrat in Harrison County, Kentucky from 1957 through 1961 are offered for your consideration with the proceeds directly benefiting the nonprofit Boyd’s Station.

Boyd’s Station, a nonprofit arts and journalism organization in Harrison County, Kentucky acquired and preserved this historic and priceless collection before it was lost due to the newspaper’s downsizing and moving from their long-time offices.

Boyd’s Station is currently cataloging and archiving the nearly 2,500 vintage 4-inch x 5-inch black and white negatives which were reproduced by reporters and photographers nearly 60 years ago before being filed away.

The limited edition prints offered here are likely the only prints ever made from these negatives since the photographs were printed in the newspaper over sixty years ago.

Your fully tax-deductible donation to Boyd’s Station in the amount of each of these print’s sale price is directly donated to and for the direct support of the nonprofit Boyd’s Station.
